The 2013 Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer

I am finally getting around to posting this.
This is something that I did last year and this year, and plan to keep doing as long as my health permits.

Due to scheduling reasons, I had to do the run on a different weekend than the normal event.
This year though, my Friends Wayne and Lory accompanied me. Having them along was amazing.

We set off on June 09, 2013

The route:
Fraser Downs Racetrack & Casino 17755 60th Ave. Surrey, BC
Cheering Station #1 — no cheering for us though 🙁
East Kensington Elementary 2795 184 St. Surrey, BC
Lunch
Civic Field Stadium 1355 Civic Field Way Bellingham, WA
Cheering Station #2 — again no cheering for us 🙁
Allen Elementary School 17145 Cook Rd. Bow, WA
End
Skagit County Fairgrounds 1410 Virginia St. Mount Vernon, WA

Aside from some fatigue and a bit of an aching back there were no issues.
Having Wayne and Lory along was amazing.
And on top of it all, I made my goal, again, thanks to all who contributed. 🙂
